Hosted by the Association of Air Conditioning Professionals, this event packs in customer service insights, code updates, technical training, and a deep dive into Heat Exchangers. 2. Combustion Air - What You Don't Know Can Hurt Performance!  presented by Jeff Wheat, James A. Wheat & Sons, Inc. 

Ever wondered how much combustion air is really needed for safe and efficient operation? Join us for this focused, practical session where you'll learn: 

  • How to calculate the right amount of combustion air - it's easier than you think! 
  • A simple method to determine if your room is the right size 
  • When grills are needed - and how to size them properly

3. Code Related Issues presented by Chris Imhof, WSSC Water

11:15 AM - 11:45 AM     General Session - Airflow Testing & Diagnostics presented by Rob Minnick 

Learn the essentials of airflow testing - measuring and interpreting static pressure, understand fan airflow, and plot airflow performance - while gaining practical skills to diagnose and optimize HVAC systems with precision.

11:45 AM - 12:30 PM       Lunch 

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM          General Session - Checking Heat Exchangers and Combustion Analysis presented by Corey Rodgerson, John C Flood

Corey Rodgerson will be explaining the Combustion Process and the quick, easy way to diagnose a cracked heat exchanger using science. Learn how to check every heat exchanger you come across in less than 5 minutes. No prior experience with combustion or diagnosis required.
